My DVD recorder back in the states recordes the closed caption signal that’s present in most TV shows. I’m able to play it here though my computer DVD player and TV capture card.
Does anyone know which TV’s here in Taiwan support closed captioning or an easy way to open these captions via software?
Right now, the only thing I can do is to play the DVD’s and through my video capture card and send the video from my graphics card into my camcorder.
Though the Leadtek capture card let’s me watch closed caption programming, it does not record it.
These captions are great and would be useful for my classes.
