Thought I’d share a short video of Hans and I up on Yangmingshan handling a smallish Naja atra (Chinese Cobra). I was using the tongs I’d brought with me as a boom, and sure enough the damn thing snapped before we’d gotten much footage, but this should give you some idea of the speed and ferocity of a cobra strike.
