After a year as the Off the Record columnist, two years covering music and the arts for The China Post and a grand total of three years in Taiwan, Carmen Russell is going back to school. Part bon voyage party and part belated birthday, the Living Room is hosting the Off the Record Party, which as thanks to the readers and musicians who have made his time in Taiwan fun and worthwhile, is open to the public. Sending him off are a few of his favorite bands to listen to and to write about: The Big Brass Balls Band, Consider the Meek, and The Sound Clashes. Come to say goodbye, come to say happy birthday, or come just for some great music.
