Configure Safari to not automatically go to .tw websites?

Just wondering if it’s possible to set up safari so that when I click on youtube.com (as an example) I actually go to youtube.com instead of tw.youtube.com? I find this very annoying.

yea, i hate that.

Google and youtube are doing that too. I think you have to go into cookies. but not sure.

Youtube: Click the flag in the top right, that might have changed, click “English” at the top
Google: Press “Google.com in English”

You need cookies enabled, or the site will think will forget you don’t want the Chinese version. It’s the website doing it when it sees you’re in Taiwan. Not the browser.

Yeah, I know it’s the website doing it, I was just wondering if there was a plugin or a configuration tab that I didn’t know about which could override the website wanting to point me to the local version. It’s not that big a deal, just annoying.
