Direct rip off of the connecting wall on Only Connect. If you’ve never seen Only Connect, get that fixed straight away. The delightful Victoria Coren (Alan’s daughter) hosts. Trust the Yanks to take something take already exists, make it worse, and then sell it back to us.
Try this instead… https://puzzgrid.com/
I like the Puzzgrid more.
It allows you to continue even after you miss it and you can also try to guess the connections between the groups

I got this one, both parts, with 1:18 remaining.
I liked them both!
Here’s an article praising the popularity of this “new” game without any mention of the original.
Ah well. I guess nothing is ever new. I used to play ‘find the word,’ with kids when I taught in England many years before they turned it in to Wordle. The connecting wall is probably a rip off from a previous show I’m unaware of.
That’s also the modern world. Games we used to play for free as kids… You now have to buy a £1000 tablet and buy an app to do the same thing virtually that you can still do for free. Progress, eh? My mum used to play patience with a pack of cards. Now she plays it on her ipad using her index finger.
Suck, suck, SUCK!

[Connections] is all about identifying words that share a common thread, which can be very satisfying. Often, though, that common thread is so thin as to be invisible. Imagine a jigsaw puzzle made of riddles. Think crossword, but evil.
