Saw one of those shortarse Hartford motorcycle thingies with bulldog clips all over the cylinder, clipped on the cooling fins.
I assume the rationale/excuse is to increase the fin cooling area, though its probably really just as much a motopunk fashion statement.
Wonder if it works? The area is increased, but heat transfer into the clip might not be all that good, and the clips’ll disrupt airflow over the fin surface, especially in the contact area.
