Well, Taiwan let me back in this morning with very little drama.
Being on the first flight to arrive (CI52, landed at 04:00, 30 mins early), helped as the flight itself was only half full, and some of those were Transit passengers as well. There is of course an extra form to fill out, simple basically asking if you have been to certain countries. So after getting out and to the point where you head off towards Immigration, they check that to make sure you filled it out, then to the next line where they confirm. Thats it. Then the Red/Green Bio Security line has been moved further out (we were given passes, so Green line), then past the Heat Sensor thing, then Immigration, where there are no signs about the E-Gates not accepting foreigners, but it rejected me, so off to the manual line which was no drama as there was nobody else in front. As usual, its then time to wait for bags to arrive, so time wise, its normal - and we were outside less than 45 mins after landing - had to then wait for our ride to arrive as we were early.
So, hats off to Taoyuan Airport and the various people, plenty of people to help and point you the right way. No complaints from me.
Oh, and the China Airlines A350 is great, that’s now 5 trips on their A350 for me, far more comfortable than any A330. And better even than the Cathay 773ER that I went from HK to Sydney on a month back.

Not at all, was just interested in what had changed since I last entered back in early January before it all hit the fan.
The only time that I have sweated when arriving was at Honolulu about 10 years back, Gun toting security demanding to see your passport as you step from the Aircraft to the Gangway.
