Dunno about the “stud” part, but I might also be keen to wear an N95 mask (or whatever that is) for my own protection at a crowded indoor event if I were an 81 year old. I don’t have much of an issue with that.
It’s quite different from the Taiwan thing of everyone wearing surgical masks all the time or they’re irresponsible anti-science ne’er-do-wells not caring that they’re killing old people.

He did have a heart attack a few years ago, and has a couple of stints.
