Coronavirus Mental Health/Support Thread

I think that just the psychological fact that you would be at home and not at work, whether that be the office, a factory, whatever, would have a beneficiary effect. Hear me out.

I am working through this and I feel nervous, tense. I am worried with what if. I try to order lunch on Uber and the choices grow less day by day. I go out to get something and I meet metal gates. I grow more nervous and worried.

Once the other shoe drops, it drops. That’s it. You think you may be safe at home. For that period, you are in your castle. The bug can’t touch you. You are oblivious to whatever happens outside…if you turn off the tv. If you turn it on and hear doom and gloom, then you turn it off.

The “economy” may take a hit, the same hit it takes every Lunar New Year. But folks will feel safer at home and that mental state is what matters.
