I can’t say I disagree with this. I know a lot of unvaccinated people in the US who were wearing only face shields “because masks made it hard to breathe” and are now wearing those food prep chin strap anti-spit things “because face shields distort my vision”.
Neither of those work to protect the wearer or those around them. But they don’t want to get vaccinated.
If they get sick or there’s an outbreak of the Delta variant because of them, the other people who will get sick are the other people who didn’t get vaccinated. At this point, that was their choice to get sick, for over a month. If it wasn’t immoral and unethical, I’d say hospitals should be allowed to refuse treatment for those who are choosing not to care. Meanwhile, people who suffered through the side effects of dose two have every right to run around and go about life “as normal”. I’d still wear a mask in public/indoor spaces, but that’s because they work against more than COVID, contrary to what the squawking from anti-COVID-vaxxers says
