The command center said that there were 36,393 new local cases today, including 16,699 males, 19,670 females, and 24 cases under investigation, aged from under 5 years old to over 90 years old. Well my daughter is unlucky because the rules haven’t changed yet and one of her classmates has the lurgy.

We just got a paper asking us to not take her to go to crowded places. Nothing about not going out.

I’m curious whether Taoyuan airport (and/or the quarantine hotels) is still able to handle an increased number of flights/tourists after 2.5 years. You presumably saw what happened in other countries when people started flying again.

Maybe allowing more tourists from nearby countries (i.e., those actually likely to come) would be too much, so they decided to “open things up” to people less likely to bother coming instead.
