Coronavirus Taiwan - Specific Developments November-December 2022

Those girls are tested weekly. Far more likely to catch something after a visit to a Wanhua tea shop. :broccoli:

I wonder what magical event takes place at midnight on November 30th that means we need to wait until then rather than with immediate effect!?

Covid becomes less deadly. Don’t you notice that less people die of covid on weekends?

Not looking forward to the explosion of cases after December 1st. Particularly amongst the must-be-protected-at-all-costs over-65 unvaccinated male demographic. They’ll be dropping like flies after this reckless move. Like flies…

OK, I know Taiwanese people don’t. But I don’t think that invalidates the point.

Any guess as to why they’ve highlighted “respiratory symptoms” in red for those two cases? I thought that the red highlighting was used for unusual cases/observations.

Is the implication there that none of the other 51 deaths, except for the one with “respiratory asthma” (also a respiratory symptom, but not highlighted) had respiratory symptoms when they purportedly died from a primarily respiratory illness?

Or just the usual CECC data reporting dubiousness?
