There was a case reported in Australia a few days back of an “Omicron Party” that someone held, in an attempt to gat them all positive. The host was less than impressed though - they did all test positive within days, EXCEPT for the PARTY HOST !!!

416,368 doses were given yesterday, of which 14,494 were first doses, 36,180 were second doses, and 365,694 were Third/Booster shots. 17,032,790 are now fully vaccinated which is 72.87% of the Total Population.
(I have added in 1st doses, and also combined the 3rd shots (Enhancements) with the Boosters)

I know, right? I wonder how they’ll spin it when omicron gets in and those people who complied are all coming down with a dose. No doubt it’ll be the fault of the unvaccinated.

Another 994,500 doses of BNT arrived in Taiwan this morning. Getting close to completion if that donation with only anther 667K or so to come.

408,361 doses were given yesterday, of which 15,007 were first doses, 58,699 were second doses, and 334,655 were Third/Booster shots. 17,103,848 are now fully vaccinated which is 73.17% of the Total Population.

Good numbers, just don’t freak out when Omnicron cases hits 80,000 p/day.
Estimate is that 1 in 75 are currently infected with Corona in the Netherlands. Hospital numbers however are still going down.

I was there when it was around 1:40. Nobody gave a toss. Most people walking around maskless. Everyone still at work. My guess is that the majority of those cases were just positive tests which people ignored for all practical purposes.

435,496 doses were given yesterday, of which 17,603 were first doses, 42,417 were second doses, and 375,476 were Third/Booster shots. 17,157,687 are now fully vaccinated which is 73.40% of the Total Population.
Of interest, going on the Eligible (12+) population (around 90% of the total population), the 1st/2nd shots become 90% and 82% respectively.
