The first article you posted talks about mixing and matching vaccines to provide flexibility in places where vaccines are in shorter supply. The second article talks about how a third dose of AZ boosts antibody levels, which would be useful “if the effectiveness of two doses waned over time.” Note the “if”.
Neither of the articles you posted mentions Delta once so I don’t know what you’re on about.
AZ and Pfizer have been shown to provide near 100% protection against hospitalization and death caused by the Delta variant. There is no evidence to date that you need a specific Delta booster, or that a cocktail of existing vaccines would provide greater protection against Delta specifically.
If you don’t die, you won’t test positive for the rest of your life. People who have tested positive and recovered overseas have returned to TW.
But if injecting yourself with a cocktail of vaccines every month makes you feel better, I’ll pray you can get them.
Was looking at this last night on the BBC website, will be interesting to compare when they get the next set of results back, with the longer gap between shots.
The AZ vaccine seems to mature with age like some sort of antibody wine.
It’s likely our immune response or the T cell part is somehow refined over time, possibly same thing could be observed with the other vaccines. But they still benefit from repeated exposure to the antigen resulting in an immediate bump up in antibody production .

There’s lots of evidence that a third booster provides an enhanced immune response and also that a first shot of AZ and a second of Pfizer is better than just two of AZ.
So? TW is my home too. And when I left to come back to the US I accepted that my ability to return on terms I liked was out of my control.
You will never have 100% protection against COVID from the vaccines. If you can’t live with the possibility of testing positive (real or false positive) because you can’t or won’t tolerate a delay in your ability to return, honestly you shouldn’t be traveling during a pandemic.
No maybe I should manage my risk . I’m already double vaccinated but if I could get another dose of mRNA I’d take it.
And I will maintain other precautions as warranted .
I’m thinking the same as you are, to add an mRNA dose to my 2 of AZ.

TSMC chief executive talks to US Commerce Secretary Raimondo about help in procuring vaccines. Some type of positive indication was given after this discussion by Raimondo. Raimondo has a key role in resolving the crisis of the chip shortage for U.S. companies. You can’t tell me there wasn’t some type of (at least implied) quid pro quo in this meeting.
U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on Monday said she had spoken with the chief executive of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (2330.TW) (TSMC) and that he had asked for help getting access to COVID-19 vaccines.
Raimondo told Reuters in an interview “he asked for help in that regard, he has spoken to high level officials in the White House. We have responded and we definitely want to be a good partner and I do think it’s helping.”
TSMC said in a statement to Reuters that they believed “getting vaccines for Taiwan would help to protect the communities and ensure normal operations.”
The request from TSMC, the world’s biggest manufacturer of semiconductors on contract, coincides with a global chip shortage that has slowed production of manufacturers around the world, including in the U.S. auto industry where it is forecast the crisis will hit the production of 3.9 million vehicles. Raimondo has a key role in resolving the crisis for U.S. companies.
