Specialists expect protein vaccines to be both efficient and safe, this is a proven technology used for flu jab. There were some articles linked yesterday if you scroll back.

They definitely have better. When you look at how India is important to the United States by supplying generic drugs, you will see how Taiwan pales in comparison, becoming a drop in the ocean.
You have a lot of arrogance. India is actually a major pharmaceutical manufacturer globally and many of the ingredients of pills sold in the West are also likely to come from India
Again. India is amazing but I can’t believe they have better tech. They have a vastly higher capacity which is what you are referring to but I doubt they have high tech stuff. Most of the value added in pharma are in Switzerland, US and Singapore. India just makes them cheap and at scale. Just like China was with electronics a few decades ago. India might just pull a China and start moving up the value chain but for now it’s just cheap manufacturing. At least that’s my understanding.
Not yet - minimum two weeks wait for the inspection apparently.
Health Minister and CECC head Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) on Thursday evening (May 27) confirmed local media reports that a shipment of 150,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine is scheduled to arrive in Taiwan at 3:50 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
The batch will immediately be sent to a cold chain logistics center, with the hopes of inspection being completed within two weeks. Frontline personnel such as medical workers are expected to be prioritized for the first batch of Moderna shots.
