Cost of Medications w/out Health Insurance

Hello,

I’m heading to Taiwan over the summer for a study abroad, and I’m wondering if I should force myself to go through the whole medication export process, or just pick my meds up while in Taiwan.

How much do standard drugs usually cost in Taiwan w/out health insurance? Are they prohibitively expensive, or reasonably priced?

As long as I know, they are very reasonable-cheap, you’ll be getting the good stuff? Not sure.

I think I’ll be able to get my Focalin(for ADD) paperwork processed before I leave.

I also want to bring my scrip for Clonopam(called something else in Taiwan), just in case any kind of adjustment stress starts getting to me.
