Sigh. I’m heading to Costco sometime this week and, because I’m unable to learn from mistakes, I’m probably going to try the calzone again. Depends on timing. Last time, the beef roll reheated at home, with added sauces, was much better than eating it in the food court, so I’ll get that if lunch or dinner is going to be an hour or two later, rather than when I’m in the store.
I don’t suppose the pizza flavours have improved?
If the (now-absent) pizza came with pepperoni equal in quality to what’s in the calzone I had, I wouldn’t enjoy the pizza either. But based on the different reviews I’m now wondering if the calzone sometimes has different ingredients. I consider some pretty dire “meat” to be passable–yet the calzone I had fell even below that threshold.
Speaking of suspect meat, time to watch another episode of Fallout!
