Costco Thread 2020

I would research this. Personally, for appetite suppressant, drinking this in the afternoon following my low calorie lunch would be ideal. But I’ve read before a meal is ideal.

And definitely diluted in a big glass of water.

Mix one tablespoon in a glass of green tea, maybe a little lemon. Energy booster say early in the morning or mid afternoon. One doc recommended adding powdered ginger.

Neihu Costco has Kirkland Champagne for NT$749.
I haven’t tried it yet but based on the online reviews it is supposed to be very decent for the price! If it is decent then I’ll be back shortly to stock up.

There are reputable Champagne houses that make private label Champagne. They just put your label on the good stuff.

I’m looking for this particular tortilla

But Costco xingjhuan says they don’t have it. Can anyone confirm if other stores have them?

Probably not much help, but Kaohsiung Zuoying Costco had it at least last week – it’s an incredibly large bag of chips (bought one like 4-5 weeks again and had to throw it out recently since it got stale).

I don’t know if they are organic but I buy tortilla chips at the Neihu store in a similar bag. They are a good buy even if you give half to a friend as a small bag of tostitos at City Super are about 170nt. Fresh tomato salsa needs plain chips.

I haven’t been to Costco is months. Is it just my imagination or is the serving of clam chowder a fair bit larger than last year?

I don’t know, you’re a braver man than I am.

I bought a couple of cases at Costco Hsinchu a few weeks ago. They’re pretty good!

This seems rash.

They are on my regular shopping list. Went to Neihu last night and they didn’t have them in stock - haven’t seen them in perhaps three weeks.

Same here in Tainan. None in Stock last week.
It’s a pity too, as they did have peach Mango salsa, but no chips.

Has anyone seen these frozen zuchini spirals around? They showed up in the new items of the app about a month ago, but have not appeared in the Sijhih store, and the clerk there could not give me any ETA. Not sure I understood her perfectly, but think she said they have not been ordered. Not sure if it means it’s cancelled or delayed for some reason.

That’s like a 1000% profit.

Everything at City Super seems to be super marked up

Hence the name ‘City Super’!
" … its core format of upmarket supermarkets …"

Eh the spiral cutter is quite cheap on local websites. I saw those zoodles at Neigh last time I was there…before Lunar New Year.

Wow, bulk durian at Costco… https://www.costco.com.tw/Food/Frozen-Chilled-Fresh-Food/Frozen-Chilled-Fresh-Food/Thailand-Durian-11KG/p/319

Not even a good price it seems - I’ve seen durians at supermarkets from 129-149/kg, this is 218/kg - and durian needs to be judged on a piece by piece basis.

Last time I went there, I was happy to see the not needed lining up from P2 to enter the building has gone out of the window.
