😷 COVID - What if I travel overseas and get Covid?

Hi everybody

I am planning a trip to Spain in August.

If I get Covid in Spain,

how long would I have to quarantine (+ self help management )?

I have to be back at work by a certain day and missing the first day of the school year would not be good. So just trying to figure out possible maximum quarantine/ self help management time.

All answers appreciated.

Thank you

If you test positive upon arrival in Taiwan, then a week. If you get it while in spain, then you can’t really fly until you test negative. Should probably give yourself as much padding as possible between your trip and coming back. I’d say maybe 3 weeks or so.

But if no test is required before departing to Taiwan, what is there to stop the passenger from travelling (not that he/she should if they know they are positive)?

Get tickets with flex dates so you’re not left buying entirely new tickets in the event you get the ‘Rona while in Spain.

If you have covid, you probably won’t feel like travelling from one side of the world to the other. Other than that, basic human decency. If you’re stick, stay put. Don’t infect the already swamped airline staff.

Forgot: The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.
