Unconfirmed reports from Baghdad are saying that due to gross military ineptitude on the part of the US(eless) military, celebrations all over Iraq to mark the handover of sovereignty on June 30th, have been cancelled. Iraqis fear that any happy gathering by their fellow Iraqis will be bombed by over-zealous, clinically blind small-town bums with bombs wearing USArmy uniforms. Rumour has it that General Kermit has had to issue memos (with colour crayon pictures) to US troops explaining that parties are fun and that they should not be strafed with cluster bombs. However, most of the semi-literate troops have yet to learn to read so it may take a few years for US troops to understand as resources are diverted to enhance basic reading and recognition skills.
