Not a restaurant or pub, per se, but still an excellent resource for those in Kaohsiung if you’re craving a new beer.
They have an excellent selection and the woman who works there speaks English and is very knowledgeable (the man’s English is very limited). While the prices are rather steep, it’s nice to try new beers or just have a change. You can also drink the beer there too, if you can’t wait until you get home.
It’s located at 67 Fuguo Road, about a block north of Dashun Road. They’re open from 4:00 - 12:00, Monday thru Thursday, and 2:00 - 1:00, Friday thru Sunday.
