Criminal record check?

Sorry this repeats various previous threads - but I’m looking for an update, which may be of use to others if it’s near the top…

Do I need a criminal record check? I think from what I’ve read here, that I don’t, but any up to date info would be appreciated.

I’ve got the non-impediment, not married, certificate and am ready to take it to MOFA in Taipei, then go to the registry office and do the deed…

From what I can remember, you don’t need the check for the marriage, only the JFRV. Although that could have all changed in the last year…

  2. Criminal record check for visa.
