Is the curfew placed on overseas workers legal here in TW?
There ain’t no curfew on anyone here.
many of the overseas workers here have curfews placed upon them. in my village, the nearby factory has a 10:30 curfew on its SEAsian peons. if they are late, they get fined alot of money and then are deported.
Any curfew is kind of redundant, they have to get up and show up at 8 in the morning, anyway, so…
Of course a curfew is legal, if it’s a part of the job contract. Just like U.S. employers requiring workers to sign job contracts that why they won’t drink or smoke - even off-duty!
