Living cost in Taipei

Hello forum, I am planning to move to Taiwan to start studying Mandarin. Could anyone give me indication how much I need per month to have modest but decent life in Taipei? Another question is, would it be possible to find part time job for an international company in Taipei? (I have master degree in economics and management. I am not native English speaker and I do not speak any Mandarin yet.) Thank you. [/b]
