I’m trying to find a place that offers custom notebooks here in Taiwan but dell, and HP don’t seem to offer them in Taiwan. What’s the point of buying a dell is you can’t even customize it? So, I’m wondering if any companies like Sager are in Taiwan or if anyone has gotten a company like HP to ship to them here.

Not sure what Dell website you’ve tried, but the one I just looked at allows you to customize most things.
Did you really go to www.dell.com.tw ?
The model selection is somewhat limited here though, so don’t expect to get the same models as in the rest of the world, but they even allow you to get a US keyboard instead of a Chinese one.
I think you can call HP and they can do it for you, but I’m not sure about it and I think it only applies to certain models.
thanks, it seems your right about the dell site. The setup of the site is a little different so it took a bit more poking around to find the customizations.
