Anybody have a suggested route for cycling through the Cherry blossoms in Sanzhi in North Taiwan? I’ve read there’s 70KM + of streets lined with Cherry blossoms, but no idea where they are. Couldn’t find much English info through google.
There’s a race this Saturday (March 5) that goes through the route. Here’s all the info:
I also did the route two weeks ago, so if you wanted to download the gpx, feel free.

You do not have to go as far out as I did to Shi Men to make that turn into the mountain area. The Sakura area are on those streets branching off the No.2 (coastal highway) after Danshui. A lot of them go up and come straight back down.
Good luck!
Bit of a lean sakura season this year. I think the snow killed off a few.

Thanks. That does help. At least I know where the Sakura trees are now.
You’re correct. Hardly anything on or off the No. 2 highway. 101 highway did have some but a lot of the trees had no buds or flowers. Almost like winter.
