What sentence patterns would you teach Grade 1s over say 10 weeks who have not learnt English before?

Those super simple songs on youtube serve me well at times. You can take the sentence structure and teach it, play simple flashcard games (pertaining to that sentence you’re teaching), and sing the song to top it off. I do this to older kindy kids as well.
