I’m doing daily (M-F at least) Mandarin word of the day tweets with an example sentence. They are presented in Romanization, not characters. They are not particularly “useful” sentences, although they all have correct grammar and so on. The service is primarily aimed at teachers in the US who are in the public schools, for their use as word of the day material, so they’re a little bit off the wall sometimes to try to keep the students interested.
