Are you riding your roadie in the lands of Portugal?
That was the plan, but I bottled it. I’m staying in Funchal and the roads are extremely busy and tricky here. Whilst I fancy some of the mountain roads (although I’d collapse), I don’t really fancy several hours of climbing being followed by a diesel bus from the 1970s filled with people on a stopover from a cruise.

Out of curiosity, when and where did you see this guy? I saw someone very similar walking around on a street in Danshui, Tamkang University area, Thursday afternoon I think. And anywhere I can think of with scenery like that is quite a walk from there!
I don’t recall seeing one person trucking around a God like that before. As part of big festival events, sure, but I wondered what was going on.
