The skyline-by-night picture is colorful, great !
fortigurn’s photo of that mei mie just about took my breath away. Feel like I should be able to touch her little face.
Paogao just always dazzles with his great prespectives, color and motion. I have to say, though, it’s supposed to be impossible for a man to double cross his legs like that guy on the Japanese subway car. Maybe it’s a girl? Maybe guys can do it after all if they’re stick thin? Anyway, the photo was great, but that double crossed legs freaked me out a bit.
Thanks. She has really lovely skin.
Agreed, the first two of those shots are particularly fantastic.
I don’t know about impossible, but it doesn’t look comfortable.

Lovely light there Fox.
I guess it’s time to post some pics taken with the D90, using the kit lens (18-105mm). All shots done handheld, no changes made except resizing:
The original Great Wall near Badaling at 9 in the morning:

National Aquatics Center aka The Water Cube in Beijing:

And of course the Bird’s Nest, or National Stadium:

Pardon the X-Mas tree, but pictures were taken last Saturday only.
Nice shots Rascal and Fox.
Thanks Craig and Fortigurn.

Thanks cfimages.
Now that I feel encouraged you have to put up with some flower & bird shots.
A day in the Park

The flowers and birds are cool - you have a good eye.

Wow, lovely shots. Terrific photos of the eagle (if that’s an eagle).
Thanks.
The bird is a vulture.
Goodness, it’s massive. Is it carrying something in the second shot, or does it just have funny legs?
It’s not carrying anything, but like you said, it’s a massive bird. The shots were taken at a very famous show in France (Puy du Fou), it actually came very close to me.

It appears to have tethers attached to its leg. If it was in a show, and therefore trained, tethers make sense. I noticed it in the photo as well. Yes, Condors are bigger than eagles. I saw one in the San Diego Zoo a long time ago and will never forget when it flew right in front of me with a 9’ wingspan!
Cool shot.
Ah, was wondering if they might be tethers. Fox, lovely colours there.
I really enjoy these pictures.
