Happy New Year!

Fox, where’s that first one? I really like the shapes and tones. Are those big stamps of some kind?
They were all taken at Pingshi.

Great photo CF.
Again some interesting shots there and Craig, I was thinking of going to that bridge for the Fireworks too, just wasn’t able to make it. Great shot.
I was in Hualien for few days, here a some of the first shots, nothing special, weather wasn’t all that great.
Hualien seen from a small stop on the cliff next to the Route9, short before you come down to the Taroko river.

Stoped at Qixingtan, was a bit windy and cloudy, but I liked the rolling waves.

Took that shots from the fisherman boat from shore with the 70-200mm, so had dry feet but I was surprised how close they dare to come.

Wow, I love that third one.
Yeah, was kind of expensive to sink the ship just to get that shot but you know… ![]()
Looking towards Bali.

Some photos from my recent trip to Japan:

From a shoot at Huashan.

Google car running around Taipei 101…

I can see these buldings from my place but I am more on the right of that photo, directly on the 823 park.
I live in Yonghe too. Close to “Aimai” (Geant). ![]()

Cool, althought technically I don’t live in Yonghe. I am just a bit over in Zhonghe, about 100m from the Yongan Market MRT station.
I am also kind of new here (3 months now…lol) so I am not even sure where the Aimai is here. ![]()

Tucked behind Xiulang Primary School, which is on Dehe Road. You must have a good tele lens to capture the 101 fireworks from there…
btw. the shots on you photo blog of the water release are awesome. First thought it was the Yellow River in China.

First try with that lens on a tripod at night, quite a nice piece of metal and glas:

That would be the one on the right than…
Sunrise seen from my place some weeks ago…

So kind of the other direction…
I guess we should meet once somewhere, for lunch or a coffee or so.
Thanks for the compliments, had some nice shots that day and lots of people ask me about where and what it is. I have it also on the back of my business card.
