Death of a PDA

I’ve had my Tungsten E2 for about a year and a half and had no problems with it until just the other day when I tried to turn it on and…nothing. Could it be the battery? Of course I tried to recharge (with no result), but I’m thinking perhaps the battery just needs to be replaced. I have no idea about the standard life of PDA battery, do you?

Anyway, right now, my poor E2 appears to be dead, but I’m hoping that someone can help me resuscitate it. If you have any knowledge that could help, please advise. Thanks!

Hi Erhu. My Tungsten did the same thing. There’s a battery cable inside the console that tends to come undone in them, or so I’ve found. It’s just a matter of taking it apart and reconnecting the cable. Make sure you google how to dismantle your PDA for tutorials on how to take it apart. Once you do, it’s just a matter of reconnecting the cable.

This guys’s ( cdma.com.tw/ ) shop shouldn’t be too far from your place. Give him a ring. He knows all about this kind of stuff (I happened to drop someone else off there the other day.)
