Does anyone else use this site?
I haven’t been able to load the page for several days.
Has it been shut down?
I searched for news on it, but I can’t find anything.
It’s fine for me.
I am a registered member there and also have not been able to reach it for a week or more.
I just checked and it works fine for me too. Maybe you’ve been banned, Josefus. You know, for being smelly.
EDIT: Oh look, TainanCowboy’s having the same problem. What more proof do you need?
Seriously though, I’d recommend the two of you clean your cookies out (at least the ones related to that site).
I can’t get it to open, it just keeps timing out.
Over and over again for days now.
I’ll try a cookie cleaning.
EDIT-Nope, that didn’t work.

Have you tried IE and Firefox?
EDIT: A couple of recent posts from the site:

UDP trackers removed
Since they were used by only 2% to 3% of the peers, the UDP trackers have been discontinued.
If you have a UDP tracked torrent on your list, please edit it’s address and change it to HTTP, or redownload the torrent from the site

Server problems
We are experiencing some problems caused by the increase in the amount of visitors.
We have requested a new server, and the situation should improve over the next days.
Thanks for your patience
Try going straight to the IP addy. Maybe some DNS server is fucked up somewhere:
85.17.42.202/
I just checked. It works fine for me.
same.
They were having trouble with the server after opening up more new spots. Replaced the server, and lost some info.
It’s been hit and miss for me over the last week or two.
Ok, I finally got in.
They have this message up which explains things.

Open registrations
Since the new database server was installed, we have experienced table corruption time and again, which is the reason for all this week’s downtime.
The hardware has been checked and we can not currently identify the source of the problem. The server can not be replaced at the moment, so, to avoid further stability problems due to saturation, we have not been able to open public registrations for over a week now. Registrations will be re-opened as soon as the hardware will support it.
We know there is a lot of people wishing to subscribe at the moment. We appreciate the interest in the site, and thank you for your patience.
I just noticed Demonoid is down again.
This time it might be for good.
going the way of oink?
God, I’ve missed Demonoid these past couple of weeks.
IPTorrents is an OK substitute, but right now it just doesn’t have the same quantity or quality of apps, movies, music, etc.
Bring back the 'Noid!
There’s a site called torrent-finder.com that searches 200 or so different torrent sites and displays the results in different tabs (10 or so to a page). Demonoid is (was?) one of them. I use it for all my torrent needs and manage to find everything I’m looking for without too much hassle. I don’t do much downloading of torrents though, so for power users it may be different. For me it’s great.

This is what I came across while looking for torrents for Asian dramas, a while back. It was posted in Sept. So, I don’t know how up to date it is.
I love that demonoid is live again.
I can’t open up demonoid in firefox or IE.
It times out.
I can open it using a proxy.
The servers from Demonoid are still running and people are uploading from me using their tracker.
I don’t know if there is something with my computer or it’s the ISP?
Accessing other websites is not a problem.
Anyone else having issues with demonoid?
My isp is hinet.
same here - good idea to run it through a proxy
