Does anyone else have this problem? I can get onto Demonoid and download some torrents without going through a proxy however some of the torrents will not work. It will show zero seeders and zero leechers. If I turn on my proxy server (VPNReactor) then these torrents will download. It doesn’t happen with all the torrents. Is it a problem with how the torrents were set up or a problem with my computer?
I’m having the same trouble now.

All Demonoid torrents I’ve attempted to start show up in uTorrent as “offline (timed out)” - no seeds, no peers, no activity. This is the case irrespective of the tracker number. (In the forum there are reports that the “offline” error issue occurred last month with tracker 3412 (or maybe is was 3413) but has been fixed.) I’m beginning to think that the “offline” problem is a different approach to continuing to block users in Taiwan.

I’ll try to connect using my proxy and fiddle around with it later tonight and see if I can find a work-around.
I’ve been having no such problems. Could it be that you are looking for over popular torrents or something? Mine are generally on the obscure side.

Mine are generally on the obscure side.[/quote]No. The trackers I’m using are timing out and are saying that they are offline. Which torrent client are you using and which trackers are you using? I’m using uTorrent version 2.0.3 and the newest Demonoid tracker I’ve been trying is inferno.demonoid.me:3416/announce. I’ve tried all the other trackers that I can think of all without any luck. 
I’m using utorrent 2.2 and as far as I know just using the default demonoid tracker
Anyone try the forum on Demonoid?

After I’m done reading and searching, I’ll make a posting with my (our) specific issues and see if we can figure out what the deal is.
Note: When we first were notified that the Demonoid website was accessible without using a proxy, I immediately started two downloads and they worked perfectly. No issues. A day or two later, I started getting the tracker offline message for other torrrents I was trying to download. So, I still had the torrent announcements for the two files I had previously downloaded in my temp file folder. I restarted both of them, and guess what? No worky. Same message, tracker offline.

Same thing happened to me.
Same with the 3390 tracker…
Anyone have any luck connecting to the demonoid.me tracker? It worked for a month or so for me before I started getting “server timed out” messages again. I tried connecting to the tracker via proxy as suggested in one of their forums, but it doesn’t work for me. There are a couple of torrents there that I can’t find anywhere else and which I so desperately want.
Not I. Been waiting for things to improve. A few torrents worked, but very few.
No luck with Demonoid here. I’ve given up for the moment. PM me the torrents you’re looking for and I’ll try to find alternate locations for you. I’m kind of a torrent freak.

demonoid.me works fine for me but I find their selections are not all that good so I use mostly kickasstorrents at www.kat.ph - much better DL speeds and far more torrents.
