So I need to unfortunately get a tooth implant here, and am realizing that many dentist offices in Taipei only take cash. Why??
Also, looks like payment is all upfront, very different than the US…
I really don’t want to dump so much cash at once unless I really have to - do you all know any dentist offices that take card and better yet, provide payment plans for expensive dental procedures? Thanks for any insight!
Taiwan dentists are excellent, I’ve never had a bad experience. I even had a buddy that wiped out on his scooter in a turn and face-planted over hishandlebars, needed 4 ceramic teeth implanted. You could never tell the teeth were fake, they look original, or better than new
some hospitals accept cards and can maybe offer a payment plan.
my daughter’s orthodentist offers a payment plan (and not everything upfront) but doesnt take cards.
you just need to ask around.
Too bad as implants are not covered by NHI. Maybe you could wait and try to get dental insurance.
