I need to get a front crown for my tooth (enemal/porcelain, not these ugly gold or silver crowns) and have some cavities dealt with. I’ve been for some regular cleanings and attempted to ask but they basically pooh poohed the idea and said do it back in the States. I would, but its much less $$ here. Does anyone know of a good dentist that speaks some English and would be willing to drill some cavities and deal with implanting a crown from an old chipped tooth?
Is that “from an old chipped tooth”? or for an old chipped tooth?
I don’t think any dentist will use a crown from a previous mold for a different tooth.
There are plenty of dentists that speak English. Just ride around and ask would be my first thought. I live in Chungho and there is an English speaking dentist just near my house, close to Showlang bridge (Adjoins Hsindian). He’s open into the evenings.
Go to Thailand. They’re cheaper, use more modern techniques and they understand you don’t want a white knuckle ride while they drill away your teeth.
