Hey, I have looked and struggled finding anything specific. But has anyone previously applied for a dependant visa from within Taiwan?
If so what did you need when submitting.
My husband just applied and pretty much received his work permit and arc, so now we need to apply for mine (we are both U.K citizens).
Anyone that has specifically done it previously that could reach out I would greatly appreciate.

So since you are already in Taiwan and a dependent of a foreign professional (it’s different for a dependent of a Taiwan national), due to this law article you can bypass the resident visa application part with BOCA and apply directly for an ARC at NIA from visa-exempt status.
The Gold Card office has a good FAQ on it (it should be the same process for a foreign professional dependent ARC holder):

My husband though however doesn’t have a gold card. He is just teaching English here, as a break from his career. So at least through my assumption these aren’t applicable in our case.

The documentation is the same for a foreign professional dependent as it is for a Gold Card dependent, just where it says to provide a photocopy of the Gold Card in the FAQ, that would be your husbands ARC.
