My status of APRC application currently says “審核中”. As per the discussion i understand its about a period of 1-2 months until card collection.
During this time, i may have to travel outside taiwan. I currently hold Gold card. Will there be any difficulty in immigration during my return back to taiwan? Will my gold card still be working if my APRC turns it status to approved during stay out of taiwan. Because i may be using my Gold card to return back to taiwan.

the card works as it is not expired yet and the APRC not picked up, hence not activated yet. The ARC and APRC numbers are the same now, so your identity with the gov is the same and shows you have entry and residency rights.
