Oh, no… I’m old… I can still remember when Taiwan used daylight saving time… :frowning:

Why should they … there is no daylight to save here … and they don’t because than the chickens and pigs, other livestock will go wild because they are confused about it … :s

They really need it if you ask me. I think they’d have a lot fewer people jumping of their buildings if they got to see at least an hour of daylight every day. It’s really depressing, especially through the winter. I guess they think it is too expensive to loose the hours from the stock markets?!

No need IMO, just move to a different timezone (plus on hour or so on top of what’s now).

i hear you there…it gets light far too early here …(cos we is on beijing time?)…now i know the locals like this so they can do their taichi at 5 am as the suns rising…but it’s tough on the rest of us no?

Is it? I have no problem with it … although I like the long Northern Europe summer nights … but then in Europe the farmers complain that their cows give less milk :roflmao: bullshit off course, maybe they should shift milking time by one hour, because a cow can not read the clock.

It is. Too bright too early and it get’s dark too early, too. Personally I wouldn’t mind an additional +2 hours since I always sleep a bit longer (even I have to work  ) but +1 would be ok.

DST is a remnant from the First World War. Why do we still insist on moving the time back and forth? Put the clock forward an hour and forget about the feckin’ thing.
