Discriminatory laws?

I was just wondering about laws currently on the books as well as those that may have been overturned in the last seven to ten years that are definitely or at least arguably discriminatory against foreigners. Sure I have heard a thing or two about the problems that married couples face and before WTO, I heard that foreigners could not own a business or buy property without a Chinese co-partner/signatory. In other words I don’t know the myths from the truth, enlighten me please…

Very perceptive observations about the foreign alien discrimations and the WTO status of Taiwan.

Just how do these noted issues intertwine for Taiwan is going to leave many stratching their heads…landowner rights, education rights in English-speaking schools, alien residency rights, even the ROC naturalizations of Taiwan residents for gaining any of the nationality rights seems to driven by or effected by the WTO membership of Taiwan.
