Is the clock really reset if you seamlessly move from marriage ARC to work ARC? I was told that some ARC types don’t count against the APRC/Naturalization time (student, white collar worker, …), but if I recall correctly both marriage and work ARCs should be able to “be combined”.

No, it continues on. My friend did this 2 years ago and is eligible for his aprc now.

@Lawrence-D just an FYI as you liked a few posts 
after 6-12 months of excessive drama we finally worked things out. Toddler like behaviour has effectively stopped…. It wasn’t easy though
I learnt that keeping his mum as far from us as possible has done wonders for our relationship

Glad to hear the situation has adjusted in your favour.
I’ve also learned that keeping my kids mother as far as possible totally helps but she still tries to find ways around the distance to make our lives are difficult. Behaviours that disappears today may reappear as something else tomorrow so tread with caution I suppose.
