In Taiwan divorce mostly proceeds when both parties agree. This can be done quickly and is cheap. Better prepare an agreement on child custody, possessions, money to avoid issues in the future. Advisable to do so with help from a lawyer.
Certain circumstances need to be met for a divorce without agreement from both parties. e.g. abandonment, adultery. There are several threads on this in Forumosa.

As far as I know, if you’re both Filipino nationals, your divorce won’t be recognised in the Philippines.

Hi dear, yes it wont recognize but his planing to file divorce first there and after that he can file annulment in the philippines
