Back up the hill. Looks like Nei-nei has two pups. One has a busted up leg and couldn’t run from me. Good thing as I had doggie snacks.
What is better for you when you wake up in a funk than scratching a crazy happy puppy on the belly?

Next should get a stroller for the puppy. 
Or just go back and see what’s what.
The sibling is about twice her size. Didn’t see lefty today. Probably in that run down house. She’s not exactly a mover.

Not to worry. My altruism is matched equally with my heartlessness.
Yeah , so now that I carry dog treats with me nearly all the pooches up the hill know the sound of my voice and are wag machines even before I’m within sight.
I pack a small bag of cat food for the babies or mom.
The babies got to it first tonight.

Years ago, one of the local chaps used to do hill sprints with me and would get a treat each time at the top. I enjoyed the company.
