I admire Putin. Little wonder there hasn’t been a 9/11 in Russia. Unlike the U.S., he doesn’t have any need to be seen as nice or to be “liked”. That’s a strength. Obama is a joke and a weakling, and the world leaders he tries to cozy up to are probably laughing behind his back. Putin may be our last hope for the survival of Western Culture.

I’m not disagreeing with you. Putin is no Ghandi. But I have no fears that Putin’s citizens will be living under Sharia law in our lifetimes. I can’t say the same about Europe or Canada.

I’m surprised it hasn’t come up earlier, but Putin also holds a black belt in judo. Youtube has many videos. He’s got nice technique, too. He’s not very explosive but that’s a problem that comes with age and he’s 10 years older than me, so I can relate to this.
