Is anyone aware of major events happening for the annual Dragon Boat Festival here in Taiwan?
Dragon boat races in most cities and counties. Many sticky rice tzong tzu to get constipated on.
You’re supposed to throw those in the river to save that loyal to the king bloke from being eaten by fishies.
But then they wouldn’t taste good. I love em myself. At least 2 or 3 anyways.
Races at Dajia Wharf (?) on the 27th and 28th, I think. Link in Chinese, haven’t located the English yet. Kind of difficult to get to on your own but the last time we went a couple of years ago there were shuttle buses.
