I thought I was going to see a movie and got a musical. There may be people out there that would enjoy this, but not me.
It started out like a movie with performances here and there, but as soon as they started breaking out in song during a normal conversation, I knew I was in trouble.
IT was alright. Jennifer Hudson (Chicago Native!!!) has been the toast of the town. It’s an old musical about 25 years old. Everyone loves it in America, I could have waited until the DVD came out.
This is also a strip club in Minneapolis. Sort of a live musical performance. Follow the link to the address if you’re in the neighborhood.
WAY too much singing in this movie. I know it is a musical, but this was overkill. A real disappointment.
