Dual citizen with crimal record entry ban?

Hi, I am a dual-nation citizen (US and Taiwan) with national ID# in the Taiwan passport.

I have a US criminal record. Does Taiwan ban me from entering because of the Article 18 of the Immigration Act?

If you enter using your Taiwanese passport, that is. You’ll be considered Taiwanese and your concerns won’t apply, is the case as far as I know

Not if you use your ROC Passport. Citizens cannot be banned.
Article 18 only applies to foreigners. So do not enter on a foreign passport.
