There canât be any reciprocity on citizenship, otherwise we must have reciprocity on constitutional statuses, as citizenship is a sovereign right of the nation and no other entity but the nation itself can rule about it.

Australia does it (like all other incurable illnesses) because of the cost of medicine.
Taiwan used to deny you but now simply doesnât fund HIV medication for foreigners. (Iâm not sure of the case if you naturalize though)
