Dumb question: those Christmas trees in a box - can you get them back in the box?

I want to actually decorate a bit for Christmas this year. And, having not yet gone totally native, I’d also like to take down the Christmas tree after the holiday season. I see these decent-enough looking Christmas trees in Carrefour: and I see the significantly smaller boxes they come in. The smaller boxes, I can fit under a bed. The intact Christmas tree, nope. So is it possible to actually fit those things back in the box, or once they’re out, is that it?

Oh, and those fake Christmas trees: they’re not dangerous for cats are they, beyond the inevitable “stupid cat makes the Christmas tree fall down” pratfalls?

Thanks in advance!

Yep. For fitting back in the box. Squeeze it in there and tie the box up with some twine.

If they are on the taller side, they usually come in different sections and you can take it apart section by section. Depending on the model, the branches themselves can be detached too.

Thanks! Good to know.

Yeah it’s a bit painful but doable!

If it´s the same fake Xmas tree from Carrefour that we have, with the numbered branches that you twist out- then no problems, although of course it takes time to twist the branches back flat again. We have had the same tree for 3-4 years and have packed it in the box every year after Xmas, it´s still in good shape so was a good buy.
