E-mails through hinet routers - spam?

… heard recently that some spam lists ‘mark’ e-mails routed through Hinet routers as spam and cause some e-mails to get dropped ?

Any truth in this … or is this one of those ‘urban legends’ ?

I’m pretty sure it’s true – I’ve heard several times that Hinet is a huge source of spam. I know for certain that my ISP blocks all incoming email from Hinet, as a fellow Forumosan (on Hinet) was trying to email me some files and the emails kept being refused; he had to send it to my Yahoo address.

It’s true. This reminds me of the following conversation between one of our biggest competitors and one of our suppliers on a trade fair:

Competitor: “So you gave the exclusive rights for these products to ? Too bad, I sent you so many e-mails asking for a quotation and never got an answer!”

Supplier: “No, no, we always sent you an answer first but then never heard from you again…”

Needless to say, my supplier uses Hinet.
